🌞 Bilingual French Summer Camp – Immersive & Creative Learning! 🎨🎶
Give your child a summer of fun, creativity, and French immersion! Our Bilingual French Summer Camp at the Alliance Française of San Francisco is designed for children of all language backgrounds, from fluent speakers to beginners. Through engaging activities, artistic exploration, and interactive discussions, campers will enhance their French skills while having a blast!

🎓 Morning Program: Strengthen Academic Skills!
Mornings are our academic time, designed to help campers combat summer learning loss and prepare for the next school year. The structured morning sessions include:
📝 Math & English Review – Campers revisit key material from the previous school year to reinforce skills and
strengthen their foundation for the year ahead.
🌟 French Class – Through writing, speaking, listening, and educational games, campers will
develop their French language skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
After lunch, afternoons are a time for more fun yet enriching activities – a chance to relax, explore, and have fun with new friends!
🎭 Afternoon Program: Explore Art & Culture!
🎥 1:00 PM – Short Francophone Film & Discussion (30 min max)
Campers will watch and discuss a short film in French, helping them develop listening comprehension and cultural
awareness.
🎨 1:45 – 3:20 PM – "Un Jour, Un Artiste" (One Day, One Artist) With the Francophone Museum
Each afternoon, children will discover a famous Francophone artist and create their own masterpiece in that
artist’s style!
🎨 Part 1: Learning about the artist – their photo, dates, and artistic style.
🖌️ Part 2: Hands-on creative project – kids will create their own artwork inspired by the artist!
🍿 3:20 PM – Snack & Break
🎶 3:45 PM – French Song & dancing Activity
Children will end the day on a high note, singing French songs and learning rhythm through interactive music
games!
🥪 Meals & Snacks
Parents are responsible for providing lunch and an afternoon snack for their child each day. The Alliance Française will provide a morning snack to all campers.

Mornings are our academic time, with a review of math and English material from the previous school year to combat summer learning
loss and strengthen skills for the next school year. During French class, our campers will learn French through writing, speaking,
listening, and educational games.
Each afternoon, campers will enjoy a short Francophone film and discussion, explore the world of renowned
Francophone artists through creative projects,
take a snack break, and end the day with French songs and interactive dance activities for a
fun and immersive cultural experience.
