Faustine Betouin, lawyer based in San Francisco since 2018, decided to embark on the writing journey and go back to her roots of a family of booksellers. En sourdine, her first novel - she rather describes as modern tale - is particularly relevant in the light of today's world, telling the stories of courageous, endearing women and addressing the powerful themes of sorority, domestic violence and social anxiety
